The Armageddon Gear Benchrest Bag is based on the design of the Dog Gone Good Bag that was popular years ago. We have worked with the original creator of the Dog Gone Good bag and have resurrected what we believe to be the best bench rest bag design we have seen. The bag is designed with an internal framework that actually causes the bag to close in on the rifle when the weight of the rifle pushes down, opening the bottom legs of the bag. The AG Benchrest bag comes in 2 sizes large and medium and is proudly made in the USA with US materials and is guaranteed for life.
**THE BENCHREST BAG IS SHIPPED EMPTY unless you choose “filled” from the dropdown menu. Be advised the bags are very heavy when filled and will cause shipping costs to go up many times over shipping the bag empty. You can buy plastic beads or sand locally and fill yourself and save shipping cost.

This bag is a beast! I have wanted one of the Dog Gone Good bags for quite some time now and was quite disappointed I didn’t learn about them until it was too late. Armageddon gear has done a phenomenal job taking over the production. I ordered the Large/Filled and think it should provide an extremely stable shooting platform from many years to come. I was worried the 14in was going to be too large, but after settling several rifles in the bag; I think it’ll be perfect for just about anything paired with my x-wing rear bag. Also, you could use this bag alone for a VERY stable shooting platform, I just prefer the additional use of a rear bag.
