The Armageddon Gear Suppressor Mirage Cover which significantly reduces and delays the effects of suppressor mirage on the rifleman’s ability to identify and engage his target.

The Armageddon Gear Suppressor Mirage Cover which significantly reduces and delays the effects of suppressor mirage on the rifleman’s ability to identify and engage his target.

Highly secure design stays in place during vigorous movement yet can be adjusted or removed in seconds.
Adjustable cord ensures custom fit and retention. Cover design ensures NO contact areas between nylon shell and hot suppressor.

Our original high temp Mirage Cover model is the most proven suppressor cover on the market and is rated for mirage mitigation on bolt-action rifles shot at a moderate rate of fire ( such as PRS / NRL matches, precision rifle practice, sighting in rifles, hunting, and plinking ) . The Extreme Hi-Temperature model is rated for use on automatic, semi-automatic, firearms where the suppressor is cooking hot for extended periods of time. Allow your suppressor to cool to avoid damage , especially with Titanium suppressors. Sliding the suppressor cover back onto the barrel will allow the suppressor to cool more quickly.

All High Temp/Extreme temp covers have a khaki Kevlar lining as well as a Kevlar cord.

Notes on temperature ratings and use:

Your suppressor mirage cover is designed to mitigate the mirage caused by the radiant heat emitted from your suppressor as you shoot. The Original Suppressor Mirage Cover is designed solely for use on bolt-action or for slow to moderate firing schedules. Through several years of observation, we have found that most of the small number of cover failures we’ve seen have resulted from use on rapidly fired AR15 or other 5.56mm rifles or through long periods of sustained fire from 5.56mm rifles. For these higher rates of fire, use the Extreme Hi-Temp Suppressor Cover. To avoid damage to your suppressor and your cover, you still need to allow your suppressor to cool frequently. Properly installed and used as intended, your Armageddon Gear Suppressor Mirage Cover will provide many years of trouble-free service.

I purchased this cover earlier this year and have been very impressed with the durability and functionality of this cover. It withstood 100 rounds of 5.56 in less than 2 minutes and not a mark or singe point on it. It has performed so well that I have purchased 2 more for my other suppressors.
The product is great but the customer service is what keeps me coming back. The people at Armageddon gear have been so professional and accommodating. I have had them contact me asking for feedback on 1 of my covers and just recently had them make a cover for the new Lazarus 6 to which they seemed excited about making. They not only help their customers but they also take what we have to say into consideration. I will continue to use their product and recommend others to as well.

Love these covers. I have one on my banish backcountry and my Gemtech tracker. Fit is perfect. Very durable. Nice tough material.

Just placed my order for my 4th cover. First 3 fit perfectly and are performing very well. I’m not a “mag dump” or rapid fire guy, but instead appreciate not burning my hand OR using a welding glove or oven mitt to remove my AR suppressors when shooting. These are very well made, and stay in place as long as you cinch the paracord at the base of the mount as their instructions recommend.

I tried another (cheaper) version for multiple cans, but it moved around (and slipped forward) and didn’t “grip” the cans very well.

Because the extreme temp versions work so well, it could take your can longer to cool down after you’ve finished shooting. I keep the cover on while shooting, then slip it off when finished to help cool down faster. I have to believe that’s better for the longevity of the cover as well.

On my ARs, my hub mounts sit well forward of the handguard. If yours sits closer to the handguard, or is flush with it, let them know that in the comments.

Again, great product when used correctly and WELL WORTH the money.

This is my second suppressor cover from Armageddon Gear, and I couldn’t be happier. Initially, I ordered one specifically for the SilencerCo Velos762, but I wasn’t satisfied with the cutout for the the quick release switch to allow access while the cover is still on. I reached out, and they promptly sent me a new one without the cutout and it fits like a glove. The customer service was excellent, and the quality of the covers is top-notch. Highly recommend! Also went with the Extreme High Temp option. Despite the “fugly brown” nickname, it actually looks pretty good.
